Cohiba Cuban Cigar Brand Database

The Cohiba brand was founded in 1966.

Launched in 1992, the Siglo range was released to commemorate Christopher Columbus' voyage to the Americas. Called Línea 1492, the initial launch included the Siglo I, Siglo II, Siglo III, Siglo IV and Siglo V, with the Siglo IV added later in 2002.

Unique to the Cohiba brand, the tobacco used goes through a third fermentation process. This is to help smooth out the contegeirs in the Cigar, resulting in a smoother smoke.
