First pictures of the Punch Medalla de Oro

With the Hunters & Frankau Summer Party only a days away, images of the Punch Medalla de Oro, the 2012 Great Britain Regional Edition have been posted online.

While you could describe the box for the Bolívar Británicas as rustic and somewhat nostalgic, the box for the Punch Medalla de Oro can only be described as regal.

There's no word on how many boxes have been produced of the Punch Medalla de Oro, I would suspect there will have been around three to four thousand boxes made.

One of the first things I noticed is that the gold foil that adorned each Cigar has been embossed with 2012 EMS. As many of you well know, the Punch Medalla de Oro was due to be released sometime in 2011. But Cuba being Cuba, the Cigar never ended up being released in 2011. With the gold foil and the impending Olympics, 2012 was probably a better year of release for the Cigar anyway.

The Punch Medalla de Oro is the second Regional Edition, after the Bolívar Británicas that is adorned with the Gran Bretana band, replacing Reino Unido.
