H. Upmann Half Corona, Cuban Cigar Information
Released in the Autumn of 2011, the H. Upmann Half Corona is a short thirty minute Cigar. There's no real consensus at the moment regarding how well the Cigar is smoking and how well they will age, but early impressions amongst aficionado's is that the Cigar has been hit and miss.
I've smoked two H. Upmann Half Corona's so far so I can't give you my definitive verdict on these Cigars. However, the two that I have smoked, one from a box when they were first released towards the end of 2011 and another from a tin of five from earlier this year. Both smoked somewhat harsh; however I could detect some creaminess and notes of wood.
The Half Corona isn't a mild Cigar. After a year or so of ageing, I think they'll be round the medium bodied mark. I'm in the process of purchasing a box so I'm looking to see how they will develop in the forthcoming two or three years.

Aizuddin Danian's 'My Cigar Blog' Opinion
Aizuddin Danian, has had a few positive experiences so far with the H. Upmann Half Corona. Read a few of his Blog entries below:
The Partagás Serie D No. 6 is the newest addition to the recent trend from Habanos of introducing small, stubby Cigars. Hopefully the Serie D No. 6 will build on the success of the H. Upmann Half Corona. Released in 2011, the H. Upmann Half Corona proved a hit with aficionados as it delivered in flavour regardless of it's size.
