La Escepción Cuban Cigars - Models, Tasting Notes & Ratings
The La Escepión brand was founded circa 1850 and was known for many years for it's full, no-nonsence flavour profile. Production decreased in reaction of the dwindling demand for full bodied Cigars of this strength. The brand was eventually discontinued in 1989.
The La Escepión brand was reinstated in 2011 for the Italian Regional Edition, the Selectos Finos.
La Escepción Selectos Finos - Italian Regional Edition
The Selectos Finos to date is the only Regional Edition to represent the La Escepión brand. Produced exclusively for the Italian market, the Selectos Finos comes in dress boxes housing twenty five Cigars in each box. The packaging has been lovingly reproduced, with both the band and box lithograph being copied from original boxes.
When the Selectos Finos was first announced, the Cigar was meant to be 152mm in length by 52 ring gauge.
