Ramon Allónes Allones Extra
The first time that a Limited Edition Cigar has been ordained by the Ramon Allones brand, the Allones Extras was released in 2011 and immediately became a big hit amongst Cigar aficionado's who were impressed by it's flavour profile and ageing potential.
A recreation of an old vitola within the Ramon Allones brand that was discontinued long ago in the 1960's, the Allones Extra has been faithfully recreated, right down to the band. The band that the Allones Extras sports is in fact an old style that ordained all Ramon Allones Cigars before the revolution until around 1972 where it was replaced with a band very similar to what we have today. Although two toned white and ivy, the band is quite striking and in fact unique against other Limited Editions.
The flavour profile of the Allones Extra is typical Ramon Allones, in a supercharged form. Medium to full in flavour, there’s plenty of fruit cake like flavours, with a hit of espresso. In terms of ageing, the Allones Extras will no-doubt slowly start to calm in flavour profile, into a smooth, complex smoke, if you can manage to lay the Cigar down.
