Detmolder Landbier by Privat-Brauerei Strate Detmold

This Dunkel, from Detmold, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany has a fruity element, which for such a Beer was a pleasant surprise.
Type: Dunkel
ABV: 4.8%
Brewery: Privat-Brauerei Strate Detmold
Pouring the Detmolder Landier into the glass, a good one to two finger head emerges. The dunkel is chestnut, almost dark bronze hue.

I find the Detmolder Landbier to be rich in it's flavours and aromas. On the nose, there's the tartness of the hops, with some Christmas Putting like aromas. The palate is coated with a lavish, full fruitiness with a very long, hop finish.
I like this beer. It's full, feisty and ticks all the boxes for me. If you're ever in Germany, hunt this one down. It's relatively easy to obtain.
